Irene joined the Residential Property Team as a Partner in our Edinburgh office in 2023. She has almost 20 years’ experience gained at both city centre and Leith based firms in a broad range of conveyancing and Property Law matters, such as residential sale and purchase predominantly in Edinburgh and the Lothians but also throughout Scotland, including newbuild, rural and LIFT scheme purchases, transfers of title, executry and matrimonial conveyancing, remortgages, and equity release.
Irene understands that the conveyancing process can appear confusing and daunting, and that her clients are sometimes in the midst of sensitive or difficult circumstances. She aims to provide to each of her clients a bespoke service which recognizes their individual needs, giving clear, reassuring and practical advice.
Irene also works closely with the Edinburgh Solicitors’ Property Centre (ESPC) and is a participant on their Duty Solicitor rota providing free advice and guidance at their George Street showroom at various weekends and also at special events such as their First Time Buyer’s Evenings.
